A Message from His Bishop Atallah Hanna (Archbishop of Sebastia) Greek Orthodox Patriarchate in Occupied Alquds.
You are the free and you are the honorable ones who are not afraid to say a word of truth in these bad times.
?Prepared and followed up by: Rabaa Yousef Shaheen
His Excellency Bishop Atallah Hanna, Archbishop of Sebastia for the Greek Orthodox and from occupied Jerusalem, sends a voice message in which he says:
My beloved, colleagues and friends, I address you again from the courtyards of Holy Jerusalem, from the courtyards of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Every day we receive distress calls from Gaza, from northern Gaza, from all over the Strip.
Severe distress calls tell us:
We are dying from bombing, hunger, thirst and torture, so be a voice for all those who are persecuted and targeted, so let the war stop. Our call is for the war to stop, this aggression on Gaza and Lebanon.
All my greetings and appreciation to you, you are the free ones, you are the honorable ones, you are those who are not afraid to say a word of truth in this bad time in which conspirators, the weak and the silent have multiplied.
We are the victors, we are the victors because we are the owners of the just cause, and all my love to you.
I address you from a holy and blessed land that suffers from occupation and colonialism that seeks to obliterate the features of our city and falsify its history and steal it completely.
What is happening in Alquds is a systematic falsification of the history of a holy city, the capital of Palestine, "Alquds" the Arab Palestinian city, the capital of Palestine and the cradle of the most important Christian and Islamic sanctities.
Alquds is suffering and Alquds is being conspired against, its children and its people. At a time when Gaza is being annihilated and homes are being destroyed on those in it.
It is a war of extermination in Gaza that targets our people, at a time when our brotherly Lebanon is being attacked and at a time when homes and buildings are being destroyed on their residents, we notice that there is an occupation persistence in targeting Jerusalem, its sanctities and its identity.
What I would like to say to you this morning:
Because the responsibility of defending Alquds falls on all of us, it is a trust on the necks of our nation, Christians, Muslims and free people everywhere in this world..
But today, my beloved, from the heart of wounded Alquds, we turn to Gaza, we turn to our people there who are being killed, starved and tortured in a way that cannot be described in words.
This tragedy must stop and must end.
This catastrophe and this horrific tragedy that our people are suffering from in Gaza must stop, as well as in Lebanon, where Lebanon is being targeted, and there is targeting of Syria, Yemen and Iraq.
Whoever attacks Palestine and Lebanon is attacking the entire nation.
What is required of us at this stage is to be highly aware at a time when there is a lot of misleading and media outlets that mislead and seek to spread sedition, fragmentation, frustration and despair in the souls of the sons of our nation.
Victory requires a strong and solid will and high morale.
Our enemies want us to be drowned in a culture of frustration, despair, hopelessness and surrender. This will not happen. We will not allow them and their mouthpieces, with all their names and descriptions, to drown us in a culture of frustration and hopelessness.
We are the owners of a just cause and we defend a right. We are the owners of the right and our enemies are the owners of falsehood. It is the right that triumphs over falsehood.
My beloved ones.
Our voice from the heart of Jerusalem, from the heart of the Church of the Resurrection, "Stop the war, stop the aggression" that our people in Gaza and our people in Lebanon are being subjected to. The peoples of this region, the peoples of this Levant, deserve to live in their homelands in peace.
The Palestinians deserve to live in their country in freedom and peace, far from colonialism, occupation, killing, destruction and missiles.
The people of Gaza, who have been killed for more than a year, their homes destroyed, and places of worship, hospitals and everything else attacked.
The people of Gaza are human beings created by God as He created every human being in this world and they deserve to live a better life. They are sentenced today to death, killing, starvation and torture.
We ask where is the world in all this?!
Where are the Arabs, the Arab leaders and the Arab League?!
Where are the free people in all this?!
We must raise our voices loudly demanding that the war of extermination stop.
Every day we receive distress calls from Gaza, from northern Gaza, from all over the Strip.

We are the victors, we are the victors because we are the owners of the just cause, and all my love to for all.
