تامبرة- فنلندا: عن "مركز التنّور" الثّقافيّ الفنلنديّ العربيّ الذي يرأسه الأديب العراقيّ عبّاس داخل حسن صدرت الطّبعة الإنجليزيّة الأولى من رواية "أَدْرَكَهّا النّسيانُ" للأديبة أ. د. سناء الشّعلان (بنت نعيمة) بترجمة الأكاديميّة الأردنيّة مشيرة صالح طلافحة، وهي تحمل عنوان: "Oblivion Saved Her"، في 311 صفحة من القطع الرّوائيّ المتوسّط، ذلك بعد أن صدرتْ لها أكثر من طبعة باللّغة العربيّة، كما هي هدف خصب للدّراسات والأبحاث والأوراق البحثيّة واللقاءات والنّدوات النّقديّة المتخصّصة عربيّاً وعالميّاً بما تحمل من قضايا فكريّة وإنسانيّة ومجتمعيّة مثيرة للجدل.
Oblivion Saved Her/ (أَدْرَكَهّا النّسيانُ) رواية ملحميّة متداخلة الأزمان والأماكن ضمن بنى سرديّة متداخلة؛ فهي مزيج متجانس ومتداخل من رواية وسيرة ونصوص نثريّة ونصوص شعريّة مساندة، وهي تُروى على لسان أكثر من راوٍ، حيث هناك الرّاوي العليم الذي يروي من زاوية الحدث المتسلسل إلى جانب الرّاوية الجزئيّة "باربرا" التي تقوم بدور سردي للراوي العليم في هذه الوظيفة، أمّا الرّاوي البطل "الضّحّاك" والرّاوية البطلة "بهاء"، فهما يتناوبان على لعب السّرد ضمن أزمان متداخلة.
هي رواية الصّراعات المطلقة بين عناصرها المختلفة؛ فهناك صراع على مستوى الزّمان والمكان والشّخوص والحبكات، وتلعب تقنيّات السّرد أدوارها المختلفة والمتباينة في خلق الحدث الذي يتوزّع على أزمان الاستشراف والاستدعاء والاسترجاع.
الرّواية قائمة كلّها على تقنيّة القطع السّينمائيّ، حيث هناك مشهديّة الحدث بشكل اللّقطة السّينمائيّة، وهي تتجاهل تعيين الزّمان والمكان في حالة إغفال مقصودة لتعينهما من أجل تعميم التّجربة الإنسانيّة، وتوزيعها على الإنسانيّة كاملة، وذلك عبر رصد ستين سنة من عمر بطلي الرّواية "الضّحّاك" و"بهاء"، وهي فترة زمنيّة محمّلة بتجارب إنسانيّة ومخاضات تاريخيّة عربيّة مهمّة، وهي تقدّم ذلك ضمن دائرة شخصيّة ضيّقة تنحصر في حكاية الحبّ والفراق التي جمعت بطلي القصّة على المستوى الظّاهريّ المباشر.
في حين أنّ البنية الدّاخليّة التي تحمل المعنى الغائب للرّواية هي تقدّم مشهديّ زمنيّة تاريخيّة للمنطقة العربيّة وللإنسان العربيّ ضمن منظومة كبيرة من العلاقات وحركاتها.
هذه الرّواية تحكي عن معاناة "بهاء" بطلة الرّواية في حياتها الصّعبة في ظلّ فقرها ويتمها، ثم تعرض تجارب حياتها في مواجهة مرض السّرطان الذي أصاب دماغها، وبدأ يأكل ذاكرتها بالتّزامن بالتقائها بالصّدفة بحبيبها الضّائع " الضّحّاك" الذي يقرّر أن يقف إلى جانبها في أزمتها هذه.
تتوالى أحداث الرّواية ضمن أزمان استرجاعيّة واستشرافيّة متداخلة مقدّمة لنا نسيج سرديّ كامل يضمّ البطلين وحياتهما الملبسة المتداخلة التي تكشف عن تجربتهم الإنسانيّة، بقدر ما تكشف عن التّجربة الإنسانيّة الجمعيّة في قطبي العالم العربيّ والعالم الغربي.
عن هذه الطّبعة الإنجليزيّة للرّواية قالت المترجمة مشيرة صالح طلافحة: "لقد اخترتُ رواية "أَدْرَكَهّا النّسيانُ" لترجمتها إلى الإنجليّزيّة؛ لأنّني أردتُ أن أكون صاحبة السّبق في تقديم هذا العمل الرّوائيّ العربيّ النّسويّ المميّز للقارئ باللّغة الإنجليزيّة في شتّى أنحاء العالم؛ لأنّني أرى في هذا العمل تجربة روائيّة سرديّة مميّزة؛ فهي تجربة روائيّة تشتغل على التّجريب والحداثة في تقنيّات السّرد، كما أنّها تقدّم تجربة إنسانيّة معقدّة في حياة الإنسان المضطهد في العوالم المعاصرة لا سيما في العالم العربيّ، وهي تقدّم ذلك عبر توليفة جامعة بين قضايا اغتراب الإنسان المعاصر، وفنيّات الواقعيّة السّحريّة، فضلاً استثمار خصوصيّة الكتابة الرّوائيّة الخاصّة بالرّوائيّة سناء شعلان".
في حين قالت الشّعلان عن ترجمة روايتها إلى الإنجليزيّة: "إنّا فخورة بهذه الترجمة التي تمثّل شراكة إبداعيّة مهمّة بيني وبين المترجمة الأكاديميّة الرّصينة مشيرة صالح طلافحة وبين مركز التنّور" الثّقافيّ الفنلنديّ العربيّ الذي يرأسه الأديب العراقيّ عبّاس داخل حسن بما يقدّم هذه التّجربة الرّوائيّة إلى القارئ باللّغة الإنجليزيّة، ويقدّمها للمشهد الرّوائيّ العالميّ، لا سيما هي تجربة سرديّة خاصّة في الدّخول في عوالم كابوسيّة تندد بسقوط المجتمع ورموزه في خضم أحداث إنسانيّة دامية تقهر الإنسان، وتسحق وجوده، وتعلي من قيم الفساد والخراب والظّلم والقهر. هذه الرّواية هي صرخة وجع في وجه القبح والسّقوط والتردّي، كما هي انتصار للحبّ والخير والحقّ على الرّغم من متاهات الواقع وإكراهاته وفساده".
في حين قال الناشر الأديب والنّاقد العراقيّ عبّاس داخل حسن رئيس مركز "التنّور" الثّقافيّ الفنلنديّ العربيّ عن ترجمة الرّواية: "هذه تجربة جديدة لمركز التنّور في ترجمة الأدب العربيّ المعاصر إلى الإنجليزيّة في سبيل تقديم المبدع العربيّ وإبداعه للقارئ باللّغة الإنجليزيّة، وهي رواية نعتزّ بنشر ترجمتها إلى الإنجليزيّة في طبعة أولى من ذلك، بعد أن كان لنا شرف إصدارها باللّغة العربيّة في طبعتها الثّانية في عام 2021، وهي رواية حبّ وانسحاق مصائر واغتراب وحرمان وضحايا حروب معلنة وخفية وبوح، وفي الرّاوية كلّ عوامل النّجاح الذّاتيّة والموضوعيّة، والأمر المهّم فنيّاً هو أنّها مثّلتْ شكلاً جديداً ضمن تيار الرّاوية الجديدة في المشهد الرّوائيّ العربيّ الحالي، وتحتاج قراءات متعدّدة، وأنا متيقّن من أنّها ستنال استحقاقها الإبداعيّ من القرّاء والمهتميّن بالرّاوية العربيّة".

New English Edition of )Oblivion Saved Her) by Dr. Sanaa Shalan Released
Tampera, Finland: The Finnish-Arab Cultural Center "Al-Tnoor" headed by the Iraqi writer Abbas Dakhil Hassan, has proudly released the first English edition of the novel )Oblivion Saved Her) by the esteemed writer Dr. Sanaa Shalan (Bint Naima).
This edition, translated by the Jordanian academic Mushira S. Talafha, is titled Oblivion Saved Her and spans 311 pages of medium-sized print.
Previously, the novel had multiple editions in Arabic and has become a rich subject for studies, research papers, and critical discussions both in the Arab world and globally. The novel is noted for its thought-provoking and controversial intellectual, human, and societal themes.
)Oblivion Saved Her) is an epic novel intertwined with various times and places within complex narrative structures. It is a harmonious and interwoven blend of novel, biography, prose, and supporting poetic texts. The story is told from the perspective of multiple narrators. There is the omniscient narrator who recounts events sequentially, alongside the partial narrator "Barbara," who takes on the role of the omniscient narrator for this function. Additionally, the hero narrator "Al-Dahhak" and the heroine narrator "Bahaa" alternate in narrating within these overlapping time frames.
The internal structure of the novel presents a historical and temporal panorama of the Arab region and the Arab individual within a large system of relationships and their dynamics. This novel tells the story of the protagonist, "Bahaa," and her struggles in a difficult life marked by poverty and orphanhood. It then delves into her experiences battling brain cancer, which begins to erode her memory. Concurrently, she encounters her lost love, "Al-Dahhak," by chance, who decides to stand by her side during this crisis.
The events of the novel unfold within intertwined retrospective and prospective timelines, presenting us with a complete narrative fabric that encompasses the protagonists and their complex, intertwined lives. This narrative reveals their individual human experiences while simultaneously shedding light on the collective human experience in both the Arab and Western worlds.
Regarding the English edition of the novel, translator Mushira S. Talafha stated: "I chose to translate )Oblivion Saved Her) into English because I wanted to be the first to introduce this distinguished Arab feminist literary work to English-speaking readers worldwide. I see this work as a unique narrative experiment that delves into innovative and modern narrative techniques. It presents a complex human experience, portraying the life of the oppressed in contemporary worlds, especially in the Arab world. The novel achieves this through a blend of themes related to the alienation of contemporary humans and the techniques of magical realism. Additionally, it capitalizes on the unique narrative style of the author, Sanaa Shalan."
Author Sanaa Shalan expressed her pride in the translation, stating: "I am proud of this translation, which represents an important creative partnership between myself and the esteemed academic translator Mushira S. Talafha, as well as the Finnish-Arab Cultural Center "Al-Tnoor, headed by the Iraqi writer Abbas Dakhil Hassan. It is a unique narrative that delves into nightmarish worlds denouncing societal collapse and its symbols amidst bloody human events that oppress and crush human existence, elevating corruption, destruction, injustice, and oppression.
